One morning, the principal pulled Steven out of class and took him outside for a walk. "Would you like the questions to stop?" she asked. "Yes," Steven told her, feeling scared. The principal explained that she planned to hold a school-wide assembly the next day. The topic: telling everyone once and for all that Steven was a girl.

PFLAG Detroit Trans Support Group meets at our General Sunday Meeting, lead by Michelle Fox Phillips.

Affirmations:  Transgender Rap - An open discussion group for people identifying as transgender and their allies. Meets every Tuesday from 7:00pm-9:00pm

Spouses, partners, family, and friends of transgender people…You Are Not Alone!  This group provides a safe supportive space for significant others.  Come meet with people who have been there.  Confidential, compassionate, open conversation.  Meeting the same night/time as Transgender Rap.  Ages 18 and up.  Takes place Tuesdays from 7:00pm-9:00pm.
